Matthew 19:16-22 describes a young man who looked like the hottest evangelistic prospect the Lord had encountered so far. He was ripe. He was eager. There was no way he would get away without receiving eternal life. 

But he did. Instead of getting him to make a decision, in a sense Jesus chased him off. He failed to draw the net. He failed to sign the young man up. 

Personal Witnessing - How Jesus Did It

witnessing.jpgThis is a basic overview of the W.D.J.D. principle. We ask "What DID Jesus Do?" -- and then we look at His example in the bible. What can we learn about how Jesus tackled personal witnessing?

John chapter 4, verses 7-26 give us the Master's example of how to share our faith. Notice that Jesus spoke to the woman at the well when she was alone. We will often find that people are more open and honest when they are alone. So, if possible, pick a person who is sitting by himself. From there, we can see four clear principles to follow:
